The mountain is calling! Whether it's cycling and then walking up, the 420g ultra-light Uphill 16 bicycle backpack makes every quick mountain ride a pleasure. The minimalist features of the backpack offer complete comfort. In addition to the asymmetrical opening main compartment with 16 litre volume, a flat, stretchy mesh pocket as well as a zipped side pocket provide access to the phone or latch without having to remove the backpack. The lacing on the front scores points with a triple function: storing a wind or rain jacket with a full backpack; compression in depth with less luggage and attachment option for hiking poles. 3D mesh on the back and on the shoulder straps ensures good ventilation when cycling or hiking. Reflective elements integrated into the design, a hydration system outlet and the rain cover in the pack bag complete the features of this all-rounder. All materials have a high recycled content. A certified mass balancing process is used for the ultra-light, siliconised main material of the lightweight backpack. Pyrolysis oil is obtained from old tyres, which is supplied to conventional polyamide production. Chemical recycling saves up to 60% CO2. In addition, this product is climate-neutral: the emissions from materials, manufacturing process and shipping have been holistically determined and systematically reduced. Currently unavoidable emissions have been fully compensated via the independent non-profit organisation "myclimate". The Vaude Green Shape label stands for an environmentally friendly, functional product made from sustainable and bluesign® certified materials.
